With sadness, we share the passing of James Wesley Herring of Brookhaven, Mississippi. James Wesley passed away on June 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Herring and Lois Ellington Herring; his siblings, Vernon Herring, Elaine Smith and Judy Burns; his grandsons, Clay Kirby and Colton Nash; his siblings-in-law, Zeb Wayne McGrew, Paul Walker, Danny Smith, Dwayne Burns, Ralph Smith and Yvonne Herring; and his mother-in-law Mona Segers.
He is survived by: his wife Diane McGrew Herring; his children, Rhonda Scott (Lamar), Gaylen Herring (Shannon), Clint Earls (Traci) and Clay Earls (Kelly); his grandchildren, Erin Sisco, Clint Scott, Lane Groft, Memi Herring, Kaylen Herring, Layton Earls, Laney Kate Earls, Dawson Pearson, Madison Slocum and Skyler Rayborn; his sisters, Betty Walker and Faye Smith; and his daughter Kings. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
