He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hettie Lane, Jack Fortenberry and John Milton Bond. He is survived by: his parents, David Fortenberry and LaLinda Bond Fortenberry; his daughters, Lyndsey Fortenberry, Lilly Grace Fortenberry and Lexy Lane Fortenberry; his granddaughter Hadley Kate Kees; his brother Brandon; his sister-in-law Brittany Fortenberry; his uncle George Forbes; his nephews, Denver Fortenberry and Judd Fortenberry; his niece Ada Britton Fortenberry; and his grandmother Inez Bond.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Church of the Way (1577 W Industrial Park Rd NE, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Bond Family Cemetery.
