She was predeceased by: Maggie Ward Morrissey. She is survived by: her husband Robert Arnold; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Ann Arnold; her cousins, Pauline Ward Harris Sistrunk, Shirley Magee (Harley) of Brookhaven, Jimmy Lovette of Wesson, Ward Gaston (Darlene) of Wesson, Rhoda Shirley of Wesson and Stephen Ward (Betty Karen); and her pets, Rexie, Inky and Maggie Blue.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Riverwood Family (76 US-51, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 2nd 2026 at the Mission Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (2409 Mission Hill Rd NE, Wesson, MS 39191).
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations through the Wesson Lions Club Julia Arnold Fund to support sepsis education and research.
