Julian Porter Powers Obituary

We announce the death of Julian Porter Powers of Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 86. Julian will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Powers and Grace Pruitt Powers; his wife Linda Powers; his siblings, Glenn Powers, Palmer Powers, Helen Clark, Nell Charles, Margaret Griffith, Shirley Banks, Donna Rorrer, Ruth Phelps and Roger Powers; and his brother-in-law Keith Abrams.

He is survived by: his sons, Chris Powers (Tonya) and Scott Powers; his grandchildren, Emily Phillips (Coltin), Curtis Phillips (Hannah) and Brittani Russell; his great grandchildren, Annaliese Phillips, Brantley Phillips, Brooke-Lynn Russell, Baylee Russell, Bentleigh Russell, Rhett Phillips and Sawyer Phillips; and his sister-in-law Earline Abrams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Heuck's Retreat Building Fund.
