She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Slay and Martha Ann Stephens Slay; her husband Dalmos E. Joyce; and her stepfather Reggie Bourn. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Joanna Posey (Jeff), Deanna Joyce and Daryl Joyce; her grandchildren, Christopher Moak, Hannah Moak, Leanna Moak, Claire Posey and Justin Posey; and her great grandchildren, John Wayne Berch and Maggie Petty.
