She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie R. Kidd and Evelyn L. Mays Kidd; her former husband Robert Lee Coney; her husband Jimmie N. Lawson; her son Gary Lynn Coney; her siblings, Billy Kidd, Jessie Kidd and Phyllis Smith; and her son-in-law David P. Russell Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Rickey Coney (Pamela) and Anita C. Russell; her sister Jackie Powell (Robert); her grandchildren, David Russell II (Kelli), Celeste Westmoreland (Jason), Jennifer Evans (Matthew) and Clay Russell (Christi); and her great grandchildren, Ava Russell, Silas Russell, Cole Russell and Reed Russell.
