It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Byron Simmons (Brookhaven, Mississippi), who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Patrick may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his mother Susan Smith Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Chapman Simmons; his son Sterling Fox Simmons of Brandon; his siblings, Stacy Simmons Kenner (Randy) of Brandon, Anna Simmons Lambdin (late Clark Lambdin) of Brandon and Byrne Simmons of Brandon; his father-in-law Ken Chapman of Brookhaven; and his brother-in-law Jim Chapman (Bonnie) of Jackson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
