He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hoggatt Sr. and Elma Lee Morgan; and his brothers, Fred Jr., Mike and Ricky.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Jane Hoggatt; his children, Donna Phelps (Jerry), Melissa Ward (Guy) and Robert Lee Hoggatt, Jr. (Christina); and his grandchildren, Kristin Welch (Ben), Kari Moak (Blaine), Kristen Griffis (Kyle), Jeremy Ward, Cory Ward (Allyson), Brandon Hoggatt, Andrew Hoggatt (Lexie), Dustin Barnett, Ross Barnett (Hannah) and Meagan Pritchard (Michael). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
