He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol. He is survived by: his wife Ann Williams Sherman Massengill; his children, Karen M. Hickman (Andrew) and Robb Massengill (Fran); his grandchildren, Hannah Halliwell (Zach), Will Hickman (Sara), Heath Hickman, Maggie M. Andrews (Carter), Gracey and Robert Massengill, III; and his great grandchildren, Witt, Wells Halliwell, Frances Andrews and Mary Carol Halliwell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Faith Presbyterian Church (400 Magee Dr, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
