She was predeceased by: her parents, Eben Nightingale and Ida Koehn Nightingale. She is survived by: her husband Milferd Unruh of Brooksville, MS; her children, Michael (Rhonda), Brent (Deena), Trent (Bobbie), Gerald (Marleno) and Melissa (Gamaliel Corzo) of Brooksville, MS; her daughter-in-law Mavis of Starkville, MS; and her siblings, Gladys (Weldo Unruh), Andy (Karen Nightingale), Arvilla Humes of Lexington, KY, Elaine Powers of Lewisville, TX, Charlene (Stanley Unruh) and Marcella (Stanley Nightingale). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakwood Manor (55 Oakwood Dr, Brooksville, MS 39739). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brook Haven Mennonite Church (3875 Hopewell Rd, Brooksville, MS 39739).
