She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Mulkey; her children, Tony, Larry Joe, Gary, Charles Larry and Betty Ellen; her grandchildren, Eric Cooper and Heather Mulkey; her great grandchild Greyson Cross; her parents, Claude Melton and Velma Melton; and her siblings, Jeff, Wilmer, Russell Melton and Betty Sue Galloway.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Rita Ann Mulkey Bruce; her siblings, Robert Melton (Pat), Claudine and Bessie Allen (Vernon); and also, Billy Dean Mulkey (Patty), Sean Mulkey (Sherry), Andy Mulkey (Shone), Priscilla Murrah (Dean), Sandy Ferguson (Jeff) and Rita Allen (Terry). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home (476 MS-9, Bruce, MS 38915). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (476 MS-9, Bruce, MS 38915).
