She was predeceased by: her parents, R. W. "Dub" Morris and Lucille Morris; and her siblings, Alma Paulette Norris, Nannie Pearl Cottingham and Wiley Don Morris.
She is survived by: her husband D. R. Barefield; her children, Jason Barefield (Jessica) and Demeka Church (Jason); and her grandchildren, Lucy, Sullie Grace Barefield, Greyson and Samantha Lucille Church. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
