He is survived by: his wife Melissa Tharpe Blount; his children, Bobby Blount Jr. of Saltillo, MS, John Blount of Bruce, MS, Samantha Blount of Saltillo, MS, Jennifer Yates of Saltillo, MS, Eulaine Petitit (Cain) of Pontotoc, MS and Elisha Strevel (John) of Vardaman, MS.; his mother Katleen Doss Blount of Bruce, MS; and his siblings, Doris Wilson of Bruce, MS and Mike Blount (Barbara) of Bruce, MS. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and one great granchild.
