He was predeceased by: his mother Nadine Matlock Allen Mayo; his stepfather Robert H. Mayo; his parents-in-law, Robert Knowlton of Oregon and Emmie Harriet Knowlton Dickson; his son Steven Wayne Allen; and his parent Claude B. Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce F. Knowlton Allen (Turner Community) of Marvell, AR; his son Barry Glenn Allen of Clarksdale, MS; his daughter-in-law Cindy Furniss Allen of Holcomb, MS; his grandchildren, William Bradley Gray (Deven), Bethany Layne Prudente (Manuele), Annesley Nicole Neely (Turner) and Serci Breanne Allen; his great grandchildren, Emmie Reese Gray, William Luke Gray, Tatum Allen Neely and Charlie Barrett Neely; his siblings, Janet Mayo Hardin, Laura Grace Greene, Roberta Jane Allen, Dr. John Mayo, Bobby Dale Mayo (Joan), William Mayo, Walt Mayo (Liz) and Jim Mayo (Terry); and his siblings-in-law, James Robert Knowlton (Cathy), Bonnie Gail Knowlton and Joann Adams Holman (Ed). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
