He is survived by: his son John James Bumgart; his stepchildren, Jacob "Jake" Russell and Hassie Weldon (Will); his grandchildren, Brody Peacock, Ellyssa Jade Beason, Logan McAlester (Taylor) and Analeese Hancock (Hunter); and his sisters, Martha Nell Hollis (John) and Patricia Davis (Kenneth).
