She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie V. Reedy and Eunice Reese Reedy; her son Lee Sutherland, Jr.; and her siblings, Fred Reedy and Donie Akins.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Hodnett of Houston; her children, Donna Hegwood (Rick) of Pittsboro, Robbie Bennett of West Point, Nancy Dillon (Jerry) of Fresno, OH, Margaret Stowers (John) of Moorhead, MS and Steve Sutherland (Carol) of Vardaman; and her siblings, Rosie Nell Smith of Vardaman, Linda Smith of Houlka, Jane Spratlin of Vardaman, Lillie Roberts of Denhan Springs, Rachel Phillips of Vardaman, Vernon Reedy of Woodland, Don Reedy of Vardaman and Tom Reedy of Vardaman.
