She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Clayton Brown; her parents, Powell Anderson Mills and Margaret Vanlandingham Mills; her son Boyce Clayton Brown; and her siblings, Hazel May, Barbara McCormick, Kathleen Warren, Larry Mills, Billy Wayne Mills and Jimmy Earl Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Ward (Harold) of Bruce, MS, Mitzi Orlando (Doug) of Banner, MS and Lanny Brown of Bruce, MS; her sister Helen Bullard of Tupelo, MS; and her great grandchildren, Colton (Ashley), Jeremy Brown (Daraka) of Calhoun City, MS, Corey Ward (Lauren) of Rome, GA, Brad Andrews (Amber) of New Albany, MS, Carla Howell (Jeff) of Vardaman, MS, Andrew Keen of Banner, MS, Mack, Zac, Eli, Niels, Mauer, Lettie Ward, Conner, Cohen, Canyon Brown, Chelsea, Kaiden, Presley and Kamden Walls.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home - Bruce (476 MS-9, Bruce, MS 38915). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel - Bruce (476 MS-9, Bruce, MS 38915). A burial will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at the Bruce Cemetery (476 MS-9, Bruce, MS 38915).
