He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Jeanette Farmer Philpott and Cecil Roland Philpott; and his brother Jason Philpott. He is survived by: his siblings, Bradley H. Philpott of Chattanooga, TN, Brenda Philpott of East Ridge, TN and Ivy J. Eddington of Jasper, TN; his nieces, Veronica Davis, Wendy Cooper and Lieghla Philpott; his nephew Andrew Philpott; and his close friend Paul Stahle. He is also survived by great nieces, one great nephew, and one great-great nephew.
