It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Marie Greer of Byhalia, Mississippi, born in Vardaman, Mississippi, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Greer; her son Merlin Victoriano; her parents, Herman Dewitt Turner, Sr. and Zula Mae Smith Turner; and her sisters, Maggie Clinton, Johnnie Turner and Faye Woods.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Martin and Nate Martin (Katrina); her grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, William, Chase, Michael, Jr. and Bailey; her great grandchildren, Seth, Sophia and Owen; her sisters, Joanne Wallace, Debbie Owens and Billie Adams; Herman Dewitt "Buddy" Turner, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brantley Funeral Home (6875 Cockrum Rd, Olive Branch, MS 38654). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Memorial Park South Woods (5485 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN 38125).
