He was predeceased by: his parents, Lona Faye Miles and John A. Miles Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Heather Gammel; his son-in-law Will Gammel; his granddaughter Rylynn; and his sisters, Debbie Mason (Terry), Cindy Anderson (Ron) and Chris Ball (Mike).
