With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Steven Delony of Byhalia, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elward Delony and Helen Jefcoat Delony; his sister Sue; his niece Haley Delony; and his grandsons, Drew and Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Stewart Delony; his children, Jay Steven Delony (Andrea), Jeremy Stewart Delony (Laura) and Joy Delony Traylor; his grandchildren, Jakin Delony, Logan Delony, Elijah Delony, Hayden Delony, Lily Delony, Logan Reed, Ben Traylor (Jamie), Ethan Traylor (Caitlin), Luke Traylor, Landon Traylor and Abigail Traylor; his great grandchild Magnolia Lynn Traylor; and his brothers, Wayne Delony (Joyce) and Pat Delony (Nancy).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (9155 Highland St, Olive Branch, MS 38654).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church Missions Fund in his honor.
