With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Ward Flinn of Byhalia, Mississippi, who passed away on March 20, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Ward and Elma Ward; her husband Stanley Flinn; her granddaughter Michele Foster; and her siblings, Marvin Ward, Benjamin Ward, Mary Lois Darnell, Joyce Clifton, Nellie Barber, Drew Ward, Calvin Ward, Percy Ward and Cletus Ward.

She is survived by: her children, Marsha May (Chip), Toni Pierce and Milton Flinn (Mary); her grandson Brandon Simpson (Laura); her great grandchildren, Layke Foster, Layne Kiddy, Cash Simpson, Collin Hamlin and Tyler Rhodes; her great great grandchildren, Jentri Foster, Silas Hamlin and Kyle Rooker; and her sisters, Loretta Winders (Wilson) and Katherine Umberger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
