He is survived by: his children, Santricia Dowdy and Leslie Dowdy; and his siblings, Mildred Franklin, Tonqia Tunstall, Vickie Mosley and Dexter Dowdy. He is also survived by Five Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:55 AM at the Mt. Pisgah Cme Church (3877 Cayce Rd, Byhalia, MS 38611). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Cme Church Cemetery (321 E Cox Rd, Byhalia, MS 38611).
