David Lionel Hester Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 15, 2023, at the age of 73, David Lionel Hester of Caledonia, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Helen Mary Hester; and his siblings, Mike Hester, Elizabeth Hester, Gail Gilmore and Nancy Crenshaw.
He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Smith of Columbus, MS, Hardy Hester (Patsy) of Benton, AR and Art Hester (Martha Ann) of Cottondale, AL.; his children, Mary Anne McCreary (Jason) of Pelzer, SC and David L. Hester II (Debbie) of Addis, LA.; and his grandchildren, Victoria Elizabeth McCreary, Preston Elvis Dexter McCreary, Annabelle Brianne McCreary, Levi Clarke McCreary, Ryker Troy McCreary, Dylan Thomas Hester and Dean Tyler Hester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
