She was predeceased by: her parents, George Curtis and Florence Irene Smith Seely; and her siblings, Hazel Lockhart, Reba Conn, Mavis "Polly" Stanley, Jo Brown and Sidney "Don" Seely.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Bustin (Garrett) and Jeremy Guess; her grandchildren, Sarah Fulton (Tyler), Stone Bustin (Ashley), Malerie Guess (Charity) and Tanner Bustin (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Leeana Newcomb and Caroline Fulton; and her sister Martha Ott.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Salem Baptist Church (7086 Wolfe Rd, Columbus, MS 39705).
