He was predeceased by: his parents, Clovis Hamilton Chandler and Hilda Hollis Chandler Hadaway; and his siblings, Hollis Chandler, Kawatha Koonce and Rebecca Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Chandler; his children, Mike Chandler (Linda), Cathy Gresham (Greg) and Cary Chandler (Nancy); his grandchildren, Scott Chandler, Tyler Chandler (Nicole), Amanda Gresham Clark (Corey), Matthew Gresham (Jocelyn), Patrick Gresham and Megan Chandler; and his great grandchildren, Caleb Clark, Jace Clark and Mason Clark.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lowndes Humane Society, Highway 50 Airline Road, Columbus, MS 39702.
