It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Matthews of Caledonia, Mississippi, born in Middletown, Ohio, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Salyers and Halla Mae Bush Salyers; and her daughter Charlie Martin. She is survived by : her children, Richard Bowlin of Louisville, MS, William John Bowlin (Angie) of Franklin, OH and Salena Matthews of Caledonia, MS; her siblings, Vernon Sandlin (Sheila) of Phoenix, AZ and Rosa Sharon Phipps (Dewayne) of Caledonia, MS; and her grandchildren, Ashley Matthews, Heather Bowlin, Richard Bowlin, III, Natalie Martin and Harlie Bowlin. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home and Crematory - 2nd Ave. (716 2nd Ave N, Columbus, MS 39701). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
