We announce the death of Paula Ruth Davis of Calhoun City, Mississippi, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Leland Davis and Eula Bullard "Miss Chick" Davis; her siblings, Joy Davis Barry, Susan Davis Ray, Bill Davis and Tommy Davis; and her niece Betsy Ray.

She is survived by: her daughter Melody Kilgore (Clint) of Calhoun City; her siblings, Barbara Davis of Calhoun City, Ken Davis (Marcia) of Calhoun City and Harry Davis (Jessie) of Bellefontaine; her grandchildren, Leland Kilgore (Jasmine), Ava Toups (Tony) and Maggie Kilgore; and her great grandchildren, Thomas Toups, A. J. Toups, Ireta Rose Kilgore and Matthew Kilgore.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sabougla Baptist Church (1067 MS-8, Calhoun City, MS 38916). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sabougla Baptist Church Cemetery (1067 MS-8, Calhoun City, MS 38916).
