He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Melany Taylor of Calhoun City, Jerry West of Oxford, Scott West of Calhoun City and Stacia Herring (Terry) of Saltillo; his grandchildren, Brandon Shankle (Clare) of Stuart, Courtney Purvis (Justin) of Stuart, Colby Parker (Lauren) of Philadelphia, Evan Parker (Madison) of Brandon, Greyson Parker (Emily) of Mantee, Greta West, Ava West, Kenley Parker, Sophie West, Audrey West, Payton West and Benjamin West; his great grandchildren, Lois, Breland, Louisa, Letty, William, Collins, Christine, Spencer Ray, Josie Kate and Lee; and his caregivers, Molly Powell, Dolly Gregory, Lucretia Mounger, Shirley and Willie Jobe. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
