With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ava Walterine Summerlin of Canton, Mississippi, who passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Boutwell and Ava Shannon Boutwell (Paul Summerlin); and her children, Paula Feraci, Sam Summerlin and Aubrey Summerlin.
She is survived by: her sons, George Summerlin (Marion) and Paul Summerlin, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Holly Morgan, Allan Summerlin, Joseph Summerlin, Timmy Feraci, Hannah Evans and Rachel Maples.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel (3434 N Liberty St, Canton, MS 39046). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
