With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carley Dewey Mott Jr. of Canton, Mississippi, who passed away on May 3, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carley D. Mott and Naomi Mott; and his former life partner Barbara Nicholson Mott. He is survived by : his wife Hilda E. Mott; his children, Michael D. Mott (Ann) and Donna G. Mott; and his grandchildren, Chad Mott, LeeAnn M. McClure (Jason), Nicole Mott, Lauren M. Brannan (Taylor), Carla Dawson (Scott) and Jeremy Dawson. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and many extended family.

Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Sonny's and God's church, Fellowship Christian Assembly of Canton, MS.
