He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Buddy" Scott and Velma Lee Scott of Durant, OK; and his mother-in-law Vivian Lowe Dorman of Jackson, MS.. He is survived by: his wife Robin Dorman Scott of Canton; his son Marc Scott (Anita) of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Nathan Kello (Rhyan) of Houston, TX, Haley Scott, Patton Grooms of Knoxville, TN, Gabrielle Scott of Orlando, FL and Lauren Scott of Orlando, FL; his great grandchildren, Everly Kello of Houston, TX and Caroline Kello of Houston, TX; his brother Larry Scott (Linda) of Sherman, TX; his niece Lori McWilliams (Robb) of Dallas, TX; and his pets, EliV and Barney.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association - Mississippi or Community Animal Rescue and Adoption (CARA) - Mississippi.
