He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Paul Whittington and Nancy Rebecca Benifield; and his siblings, Betty Norris and Benny Whittington. He is survived by: his girlfriend Helen Braune; and his siblings, Nancy Dumestre, Paula Wilkenson, Bill Whittington, Ricky Whittington, Linda Estep and Cheryl Clark. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews; 36 grand-nieces and nephews; and eight great-great-nieces and nephews.
