He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stanley and Henrietta Dunhurst (Coleman); his siblings, Cleo, Leon Dunhurst and Jo Ann Dyess; and his half-brother Alonzo Dunhurst.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dunhurst; his sons, Ray Dunhurst (Gwen) and Bob Dunhurst (Gwen); his grandchildren, Jarret, Hayden and Emma Dunhurst; Jol Parker.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the West Union Baptist Church Cemetery (560 W Union Rd, Carriere, MS 39426).
