She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace T. Chamel and Blanche Mille Chamel; and her siblings, Raoul "Sonny" Chamel, Horace "Bubby" T. Chamel Jr. and Yvette Chamel Farrell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (1000 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune, MS 39466). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Palestine Cemetery (2336 Palestine Rd, Picayune, MS 39466).
In lieu of flowers, please have masses said for Edris at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
