She was predeceased by: her parents, William Spencer Lyon and Evie Virginia Pruitt Lyon; her husband John Lewis Huggins; and her siblings, David Spencer Lyon, Shirley Ann Land, Linda Faith Lyon and William Lafayette Lyon.
She is survived by: her children, Evie Leta Huggins Necaise (Randy) and William Lewis Huggins; and her siblings, Rachel Lyon Harrison (Bobby) and John Lyon (Cindy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the The Pole Barn (7168 Wyndell Ladner Road, Perkinston, MS 39573). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Cathoula Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
