It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann Pearson Spence of Carriere, Mississippi, who passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Enos Pearson and Willie Kirkland Pearson Lee; her husband Barney Oreece Spence; her brother Sammy Kaye Lee; her niece Carla McQueen Primeaux; and her great grandchild Paisley Claire Sheasby.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Spence Moré (Lou) and Becky Spence Sheasby (Scott) of Carriere, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Jeremy Sheasby (Amy Leah) of Carriere, Amanda Spiers of Ocean Springs, Jami Whitfield (Cody) of Carriere, Mechelle Moré of Cincinnati, Andrew Moré of Yellowstone and John Moré (Hannah) of Erlanger, Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Aaliyah Rodriguez, Steele Sheasby, Bently Whitfield, Ryder Sheasby, Havyn Rodriguez, Selah Sheasby, Beau Whitfield, Harbor Spiers and Brixtyn Spiers; her sister Claudette Heasley; her sister-in-law Nell Spence Stewart (Jimmy); and her nephew Kevin Seal (Andrea). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
