He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Roche Skipper; his children, Schuyler Skipper (Katherine), R. Landon Skipper (Hailey), Jerrica Skipper and Millicent Skipper (Daniel); his grandchildren, Karmen, Lizzy, Adalie, Anniston, Andie, Philip, Daniel and Marisol; his siblings, Adrian Skipper (Sharron), Karen Jackson (Gary), Rachel Fox (Randy) and Emily Ladner; and his brother-in-law Robert L. "Robby" Roche, Jr..

Visitation was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Union Baptist Church (560 W Union Rd, Carriere, MS 39426). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the West Union Baptist Church Cemetery (560 W Union Rd, Carriere, MS 39426).
