She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Otha Dillard and Mary Arlene Mitchell Dillard; her husband Maurice L. Smith, Sr.; and her children, Martha Kay Smith, Arlie Otis Smith, Cecil Forrest Smith, Steve Smith and John Edward Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Maurice (Elaine J.) and James Michael Smith (Renee). She is also survived by 150 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
