With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Winford Smith of Carrollton, Mississippi, who passed away on December 25, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Garnet Winford Smith, Jr. and Althea "Annette" Barrett Smith; his daughter Sharyn Jones; and his brother Randy French. He is survived by : his wife Wanda Williams Smith of Teoc; his children, Melissa Metz (Joey) of Teoc and B. J. Jones (Tina) of Carrollton; and his sister Judy McGinnis (Lee) of Greenwood. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
