It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laurel Elizabeth Smith of Carrollton, Mississippi, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Mallorie Kate; and her grandparents, Carl and Ruth Slaughter of Carrollton, MS.. She is survived by: her husband Ryan; her daughter Pinion "Pinnie" Kate; her parents, Vickie Bennett and Ken Bennett of Carrollton; her brothers, Jay Thomason (Erin) of Hernando, MS and Sumner Thomason of Madison, MS; and her family Jesus. She is also survived by other aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Winona (309 Summit St, Winona, MS 38967). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the Moores Memorial Cemetery.
