He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Monroe Prewitt and Carolyn Belk Prewitt; his grandson Garrett Jones; and his brother David Prewitt. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot Dot" Organ Prewitt of Carrollton; his daughters, Monica Prewitt Jones (Kenny) of Carrollton, MS and Lauren Prewitt Beck (John) of Carrollton, MS; his siblings, Doug Prewitt (Joy) of Quitman, MS, Renee Martin of Grenada, MS and Brandy Prewitt of Southaven, MS.; and his grandchildren, Kendi Brook Jones, Anna Lauren Jones, John Lane Beck and Meri Milton Beck. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
