It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky L. Shirley of Carrollton, Mississippi, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ocie "Peter" Shirley and Frances Welch Shirley. He is survived by: his wife Carrie Shirley of Carrollton, MS; his son Timothy Shirley of Morton, MS; his stepchildren, Wes Hunt (Brandi) of Carrollton, MS and Betsy Parrish of Booneville, MS; and his stepgrandchildren, Graydon Hunt, Eric Kendrick, Christopher Kendrick (Kelsey), Kevin Kendrick (Brittany) and Kimberly Shumaker (Josh). He is also survived by 12 step great-grandchildren.
