With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sam Kittrell Hodge Jr. of Carrollton, Mississippi, born in Carthage, Mississippi, who passed away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Kittrell and Annie Wilcher Hodge; and his brother Lewis Hodge. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hodge; his brother Mac Hodge (Debra) of Jackson; his children, Andrea Hodge of Jackson, Amy Bush (Ronnie) of Greenwood and Sam Kittrell Hodge, III (Teresa) of Eutaw, AL; his stepchildren, Mellonie Robertson (Russ) of Coila and Aubrey Shaw, Jr. of Carrollton; and his grandchildren, Stephani Beard Hodge, Morgan Taylor (Jeffrey), Russell Robertson, Jr., Cori Hodge, Taylor Shaw, Analise Bush, Hunter Huff and Walker Shaw. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
