With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Louise Blackmon (Carson, Mississippi), who passed away on November 25, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edna may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edna touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Henry and Rosine Katharina Tammen Marquardt; her husbands, Dan Watson, III and Billy Ray Blackmon; her children, Karen Blackmon Bridges and Michael Dan Watson (Edward Ray Blackmon); and her siblings, Frank, Erwin and Lavelle.
She is survived by: her niece Linda Howard of Torrance, CA.. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
