It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phenie Dyess Stogner of Carson, Mississippi, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Dyess and Olive Dyess; her siblings, Thomas Dyess, Joe Stanley Dyess, Amelia Traylor, Lula B. Raynes, Ida Mae Reed, Tiny Raynes and Agnes Bahm; and her son Dan Stogner.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Wayne Stogner (Becky); her grandchildren, Wendy Miller (Earnest), Megan Altman (Jacob) and Barry Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Lukas, Kinslee, Zackery, Makaila and Autumn.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greens Creek Baptist Church (348 Wiley Dyess Rd, Carson, MS 39427). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
