He is survived by: his wife Carolyn L. Wilson; his children, Demetric Wilson (Bobbie) of Philadelphia, Mississippi, Eddie Wilson, Jr. of Decatur, Mississippi, Ebonek Wilson of Meridian, Mississippi, Makeba Williams of Houston, Texas, Samuel Evans (Kenisha) of Lena, Mississippi. and Quayteace Evans of Lena, Mississippi.; his siblings, Helen Wilson of Lena, Mississippi, Mable Wilson of Carthage, Mississippi, Cassandra Nicks (C. L.) of Hillsboro, Mississippi, Linda Wilson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, James Gilbert (Georgia) of Forest and Otis Johnson (Hazel) of Gary, Indiana; his close friends, Horace Ragsdale and Howard Shaw; and his nephew James "Chris" Gilbert. He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; and a vast array of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends.
