She is survived by: her children, James Harold Whatley, III (Annette) of Florence, MS and Angel Whatley Smith (Brandon) of Oxford, MS; her brother Bill Thornton (Alene) of Vicksburg, MS.; and her grandchildren, Connor Whatley, Austin Whatley, Stratton Smith, Sharpe Smith, Slay Smith and Desiree Morrison (Matt). She is also survived by four greatgrandchildren.
