He was predeceased by: his wives, Estell, Bessie, Bernice (Dee), Lavonia and Alma; his children, Johnna Sue Miller, John Robert Kendall, Jr., Ira Winston Kendall, James William Kendall, Clarence Joseph Kendall and Gerry Austin Kendall; and his brothers, Earnest, James and Paul Kendall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leora Kendall and Joetta Braddock; and his sister Eunice Mae Winters (Roy). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
