He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas James (Tommie) and Corrie Hodges (Smylie); his wife Fannie; and his siblings, Edna Snody, Hazel Duck and James Alton.
He is survived by: his son Edwin "Ed" Hodges (Susan); his grandchildren, Aimee Roquet (Eric) and Tommy Hodges; and his great grandchild Jace Thomas Roquet of College Station. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Newman Funeral Home (155 S Cosby St, Centreville, MS 39631). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
